Quick-Clear Valve

• This is where you connect the quick clear valve adapter and use a Quick Clear cartridge to clear any impurities in the trap.
  

This gas button/safety valve has two primary functions.

• Starting the Freedom - You use this gas button to allow gas to flow into the burner box to allow the unit to start. It is after the unit is running and heat is generated the gas valve will stay open on its own and you can release is slowly.
• Safety Valve - If the trap overheats and it reaches a certain temperature, the gas valve will close and stopping the flow of gas and shut off the trap. (WARNING: This gas valve should not be bypassed. Bypassing this valve can and will result in damage to the trap. It is not covered by the warranty. )
