If the igniter on your Freedom does not click, then it can be due to a build up of moisture, dirt or even mosquitoes that may have gotten in there. The image below shows the igniter. Below the red button there is a notch (shown in gray). This notch allows you to spray in some WD-40 to free up the igniter mechanism and allow it to click. When spraying WD-40 into the igniter, you should use the small red tube that comes with the WD-40 to get a more accurate spraying into the igniter.
